Electrifying the Iponri Market
Renewable and stable power for Nigeria
The target is to electrify twelve markets by 2019 equipped with BOS Systems. As part of this project, 450 stores in the Iponri market in Lagos now benefit from a renewable and stable power supply. Businesses are mainly souvenir shops, electronic products, tailoring, financial and printing services. With remote monitoring functions, all important system information and energy consumption can be read. PAYG makes it possible for customers to book their current contracts in advance on there mobile phone or in the service center. The prices for the shop owner are well below the costs of the old diesel generators.
